ADCU (Australian Defence Credit Union) has been providing banking services to defence personnel, defence contractors and their families since 1959. Our credit union continues to focus on the defence community, however we also welcome members from the general public.

ADCU has assets exceeding $800 million, over 47,000 members and 39 branches with a significant presence on major defence bases around Australia.

We pride ourselves on our reputation for being helpful, reliable, professional and most of all for understanding the needs of our members.

ADCU is a credit union and as such we exist for the benefit of our members. Our members are our shareholders and as a shareholder, each member has an equal say in how their credit union operates.

At ADCU we invest our profits back into our business to create better products and services for the benefit of our members.

We are committed to improving the standard of living of our members by encouraging savings, making loans available at the lowest possible cost, and providing other services to suit the banking needs of our members and their families. We meet these needs by understanding our members and designing products and services to suit. Most importantly, we listen to our members and use your feedback to improve our service.

We are also committed to providing a fair fee structure. Our relationship reward allows us to reward members for supporting ADCU. Essentially, the more you bank with us, the bigger the rebate on fees. In fact, the majority of our members pay little or no fees or at all.
